I just use a slaved on water valve randomly picked from my parts bin to check for dispenser valve values and they usually work fine so I guess the resistance would be similar in value. ditto the regen valve. can take readings for you tomorrow, too late now to go rooting around in the van outside.

I only used it on my head once and felt such a pillock, its a good bright torch though and its shape makes it very pointable when laid down. Bought 5 of them from CPC at stupid money so no bother when i loose one.Re: Smeg DF614WE ( D/W)
is the wash programme still running then when you shut the door and press start?

Why, exactly? is there some other meaning to the term LED?
If he means the levers that control the pcb, there is a mod for this, which comprises of 2 parts, if you dont fit both then the buttons are not operating the switch on the pcb.

who gave you that part number? its wrong. You need 931330815.
They do not “screw to the chassis” though. They do fit into the door and yes the door needs to be dissmantled to do so.
Whats more, you will need the hinge locking pins (supplied to customer when new) to lock the old hinges and again to refit the new ones, these springs are nasty! They must be handled with respect and compressing the new ones is a nightmare.Re: lost tools
I know its still listed Martin, thats how i found the new number. Just cannot be bothered really and thought maybe some others had one lying around. Its basicly just wire hook with a loop handle on it. Will probably make something for the kick boards. Pretty sure they also listed this same tool for fitting the “packing strap” type door seal band on late hotpoint WM’s but once again, never used it for that purpose.
Anyone for starting a list of special tools they have bought and never used?

check carefully for an earth leak however small, unplug the circ pump motor, see if that frees off the pcb. dito the alt valve. As she reported a E8 first then I would suspect that.

what happens if you just start a wash program? I personally never bother with the test prog, set a glass wash, close the flap and start up.
checked for water in the base? look for slight leak evidence under the diverter valve, only takes a drop of water on the switch in the valve to cause all sorts of issues.
