loose tacho magnet? or check for a circuit through the tacho coil, will be a new motor if open circuit. PCB otherwise I would guess.

I bought a bulk load of silicon from a reputable wholesaler a few years back and after using around 2 tubes, the rest were set solid in the tubes before they were even opened. They were stored in my garage at home and subject to the worse a British summer could throw at them (lets face it, not great extremes of heat!) and yet they ended up in the skip.

You do surprise me. there has been a complete shift in working from home atitudes since 1992 and I cannot believe any council would take exception to anyone do so, assuming they are not causing a nusiance to other residents.
Must admit though I have never taken a machine away to repair for 25 years and even then I would be struggelling to think of an occacsion.Re: Miele PW5065 Poor Spin Performance
not sure about this model but a regular on other Miele’s is the pipe from the Y join on the dispenser hose down to the top of the filter. Take the side panel off and you can see it easily, take all the pipes off and flush them out.

funny enough its just been added to my connect order today, lets hope its in the box when it arrives on Tuesday. Qualtex now also showing it in stock, obviously a shed load have just turned up.

op part number is now replaced by 818730567 IMO you probably need the correct one for these.

always bothers me that connect switched to online statements to save postage yet the junk mail still arrived x2 (to both my delivery adress and my account address.

I think that is the correct one, not done one for a while but the original is sandwiched between the stainless and is impossible to fit. Cannot remember how but it didnt take long to work out.
