The real strange thing is that ASKO’s, along with most high end appliances, have never, had hot fill before.

done plenty, if you get the kit from stoves it comes with colour instructions, while some other suppliers seem to give you b&w photocopy which are very difficult to read. Once you know how a stoves comes apart
its quite an easy job but its not cheap and will do both ovens whether you want to or not (connect were cheapest, for once, last time I looked) and on some cookers the stat action is reversed so to get to the lower temperature, you have to turn the knob past the high temperature and have to turn the temperature up before getting to the off position, if you understand what I mean-not good considering how much the customers bill is.

    there is no licence.
There is an F gas cert for some older refrigerants, most domestic stuff is now R600a and not covered.

Iv’e tried but failed to open the door …whats the knack??

    Dave
first, find the slot, its alongside the door handle and you may need to pull the drum over slightly to see it.
then insert the narrow end of the “tool” into the bottom of the slot and simply move the tool in an upward direction. bingo!

no the arm is always that loose!
activating antiflood but is it actualy leaking? If leaking whip the rh side panel off, often its the o rings between the air break and the water softner. If not, take the bottom front off and look in there with a torch.

Exactly how it happens!! Remove the clips carefully via hacksaw and chissel and the extra screws take up the slack. I got all stressed up about doing one of these but it’s not as bad as it seems! Just take note of the suspention leg mounting to the tub tho.. If ever you need to change a damper it’s gonna be a big job!

The official way to replace the suspension legs is to drill out the fixing pegs with a 13.5mm drill as the new ones come with washers and bolts !!! 30min job at most !

such a common size too, just what everyone has in their tool box, yes I got caught out on one of these, Think I used a 13mm and wiggled it about a bit.

OOE is not an error code, can display “OPEN” obviously if door problem, all the other codes start with an E.

yes does have filter which will be covered by a plastic kick strip and whatever wood the installers have fitted infront of the machine so the chances of it being ever looked at by the customer will be slim so would start there.

sad to say though for me I never have any sort of relationship with anyone at any of my suppliers anymore, its all faceless, souless transactions conducted often in the early hours of the morning.

    Re: Next Machine Introduction

I think the cheaper wahsing machine option would have been good in the days of the previous 10, ie. a lower spec without the drop down door but with the door having gone anyway I fear the lower spec one will look too much like the higher spec one and will “price” the cost of the extra warranty and 200 odd rpm.
