have not got the model of your dryer but I think all the filters are the same so looked up one at random

    part number 09012055

think it just might be still available

if you post the model of your machine can check part number

should turn one third turn and come off

push slightly, turn one third and it should pull off

if it does not it could mean the boss at the back of the drum has somehow worked loose and is going round as well

I don’t do a lot of fridges etc but I cant think why you would need to do what you are describing

why? what fault do you hope to cure by doing this ?

Re: PCB type thermostat compatibility ?

you have only changed the pcb but the temp is controlled by an NTC which in most fridges is foamed into the case in manufacture. to change it may well involve digging a hole in the insulation and refilling it with foam after. It also need knowledge of where it is to get the new one in the right place
not a job I want to do

    Re: zanussi w1042w erratic behaviour

when these machines get older the power supply feeding the electronics on the timer fails. It does not just go but it get lower with time just like a battery running down. one of the thing you notice is the machine fails to spin, it tries but does not get to high speed. cheap easy fix if you can solder and source electronic components. if you cant contact QER they can fix it

the top of the programmer knob unclips. then there will be a nut inside holding the knob onto the timer
