    Re: Bosch WAQ24461GB/14 – 8KG washing machine

I would say the triac on the module has failed

valve coils are only rated for about 10 mins use otherwise they overheat and fail.
so either the valve has gone and blown the triac or vice versa

    Re: Hotpoint Washer Motor

the original GEC motor is no longer available. you would have to fit the later motor and a fitting kit that means a wiring mod. got the mod you need an IDC (insulation displacement connector) tool to connect the wires

    motor C00118057

    fixing kit 1 C00202905

    fix kit 2 C00202906

you will prob need fixing kit 1
but beware the wiring is not 1 for 1 the connections are not in the same order as the original so you would have to work out where they go by measuring the old motor to the new one

think i may have the instruction somewhere but i may have to go digging

    Re: Whirlpool ADP Dishwasher

from what i can see of the motor on connect its just a standard overgrown askol drain pump. as long as the coil in the motor is ok its pretty easy to test.
the motor has an iron core so if you pick up a screw driver and touch the iron core you will feel the magnetism when its on

its a bit worrying how this fault shows, but i have 1 idea. it looks from connects pictures that the timer is in a box behind the control knob, and, i am assuming the timer has a capacitor power supply and not switch mode
    so
i think what is happening is this. you power up and set the programme, the pump starts, then stops and the unit fills, then it tries to start the main motor and that needs more power than is available and the timer crashes

what i cant figure out is why it pumps out. Does it start to fill again or just stops
do the light come back on ?

Re: Siemens HB86E560B combi oven clock display dead

from what i can see on the diagram there are 2 boards. the relay board seems to supply the power to the display board

if the power supply on the rear board is the fault it may be fixable.

for some reason Qualtex list 2 different types of single regulator so i would ring and check
    but
if its fitted with the old Diamond H unit the cross ref is here

    well it cant be a thermistor problem on those readings, granted its a bit low but its only a little over 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}

Re: de dietrich DOD448XG12 tripping rcd

i would start by disconnecting all the elements and the lampholder and see what happens from there

after that its a question of disconnect and see if it goes.

also if the oven is on a switch and cant be disconnected make sure the neutral is switched because neutral and earth are joined at the substation so will read as an earth fault when there is nothing wrong
