Re: BEKO DCU8230 not heating up

door ntc is rated 12000 ohms at 25 degrees C
heater ntc is 19500 same temp

always select a timed programme for tests without wet clothes inside as some machines wont heat unless damp is detected

if this fails remove and check main pcb for damage

Re: LG F1681TD Water Heater causing RCD to trip

the rcd is tripping because the resistance to earth is to low and has no bearing on the element resistance of 30 ohms

had a few of them where the heater bracket has rubbed through the metal casing. check for damage on the element. if non is found its still likely a new element will cure it

not had one yet to try and diagnose but look for blown caps first as the one thing chips don’t like is ripple on the supply lines

there are a few things it can be
    1 blown element
    2 timer

on your model the heater is part of the motor so its a complete unit at £111 + from bosch

unfortunately they are not as strong as the old style bosch heaters

    Re: Hotpoint 1848 Spares

first off i think get it somewhere and test it

also check the drum as most of this range use a steel coated drum with an alloy rear. the rears have a habit of corroding through

i may have the odd spare for these but a panel is not among them

    Re: Beko DSC85W

i agree but they do say they have modded it and used a sealed NTC to stop moisture ingress
but that still wont stop them failing
there is probably another one that would go in but if you fit a non standard part and something goes wrong !!
    not worth the risk
