no not on its own (unless it leaks) but the motor wont work with the crack
but when you cost the motor it may not be worth fixing

motor scrap need a new one because of the cracked magnet
this magnet get wet in use its the housing that stops the water leaking out

it would be very rare for a triac just to fail and nothing happen
does the pump not start even for a sec or two ?normally one of two things happen
1 pump fails and blows triac
2 triac fails and pump never stops
up to now never seen a failure where it just does not fire ( but there is always a first timeanyway as i said before quickest way to find it is disconnect pump and buzz wires back to the board

1 why ?
2 above the transformer are a row of blue surge protectors (varistors) each one is connected to a traic. it will prob be one of them but dont know which one serves the pump. disconnect pump and buzz it backDave

its not too bad as you can do it with door closed and magnetic door seal will help to hold it
as a matter of interest since these hinges seldom fail unless they snap Why ?

makes me wonder if the door lock has welded shut did it blow the rcd or a mcb ?
with a bit of luck if you use the manual door open override you may get the door open,. then i would strip the lock and look

its not only for tv interference it also stop the interference going back up the mains wiring and yes they all have them
