    Re: Diplomat Ad322 dishwasher

from what you say correct model should be ADP8322 whaich is a whirlpool
4 flashes is a heating problem

common problem on these machines is the wires break in the doors
remove door outer paqnel and you will find a plastic sleeve with wires running down to underneath. you will prob find the sleeve has snapped and so have at least 1 wire. check all the other wires for cracks in the insulation

these units are very robust and reliable so if thats all it is its woth fixing

    hope this helps

since these are a bosch unit, and Bosch recalled dishwashers in the range FD 7901-8504, and this unit had an FD of 8210

is this one part of the recall due to timer problems ??

this is a long shot but Beko washing machines do this if they are connected to hot water by mistake

had one of these to do a while ago cant remember model but i thought board had gone. ended up there was a mod and i had to change board and loom

on yours look at the red socket. has it got 3 pins or more(poss 9)

if its got 3 your in the same boat new board has 9 so complete loom required to fit

have also got ntc so just measured it and got 1.2 meg ohms this shop not heated now so you can get an idea of the temp (may not be same model but board looks the same )

    Re: Hotpoint WDL520G lights flashing

a lot of flashing light problems on this machine are down to a capacitor failure on the board

have you checked for this ?

well documented in simple pcb repair tips above

they all work that way. you put top arm in first and then the bottom bit
but unless you lock the top arm down you will really struggle to overcome vthe heavy spring

if you get stuck post a few pictures of old and new hinges

1 did you try it with wet clothes in it ?

2 if above answer yes then i would look at the relays on the board that control the heater

no think its press and hold

not heard of board being damaged by heater/motor earth faults at least not in houses with RCD’s fitted so things dont go bang

Re: Neff S52E50X1GB Tap light on.

this is one of the later pumps that is fed from a 3 phase supply from the board. to detect if the unit is empty the board senses the current going to the pump. so if its blocked the current stays higher due to the load and machine times out. unfortunaly these pumps wear and start to catch therby increasing current to fool the board its not empty
