Re: Indesit w1235 washing machine not starting

sounds like the door lock. the only problem is sometimes when they go they take the main pcb with them
as long as you can still get it do the odd wash you may be ok as if the pcb has failed it would not work at all

heater relay are suspect on any machine

the way i test them is to run with board out and test voltage at relay coil. you could always 2 wires on and watch voltage to see if it energises

    board power supply

    common fault

if you call smeg they will change the board
call a good local engineer they may be able to repair the board

talk to EMW first got to be the board

suggest to them the door lock triac may be faulty

I cant see the spin selector having a bearing on this problem

sounds a bit more like a water valve problem or no water

Re: Indesit IWB5113 door locks when plugged in

its a bit of a difficult one this

i would have said the board was faulty and if it were me i would swop the door lock triac but since EMW have looked at it you would assume they have checked for leakage.

you could also try an experiment. disconnect all you can ie motor, heater valves etc and see if door locks. The theory is if it still ocks with it all disconected then you can rule out some of the components

    hope it helps

    Re: jv12s-kt Minature relay

i would find a 12 relay with the same current rating and see if the board can be altered to fit

as long as it is well secured wont be a problem

have done it on miele board a few times

I would ring CDA or repair it most of these pcb’s are simple and you can repair tracks
they blow because lamps go and the fuse in the plug should be 3A

Re: AEG Pnc 944181735 (single oven)

have not looked up this cooker but most simple clocks go as follows

the clock will be fed with a live and neutral so you can buzz these wires from the mains conn block
you might find you have 2 lives and a neutral and 1 wire left over which wont buzz
the wire that wont buzz will be the switch wire. most likely feed it live and all will work
if you are worried either put a 5a fuse in the plug to try or use your multimeter on ohms and try all positions

    hope it helps

normally the wires nearest the relay are the ones

these motors are a variable frequency 3 phase unit

if you lose 1 phase you get the effect you are reporting.

in my opinion its either stator or pcb
