    Re: smeg oven temp fault

thanks for your thoughts in reply

“was this original fault” think so but element was changed first. customer fitted both parts but stat was supplied by us. part was gen stat from servast cant speak for element as he got it from another local firm who told him it was a genuine smeg part

light was going out when set at 220 which suggest element is ok and working (element is normal round fan element)

watch light go on and off for over 30 mins to let it settle but still below 200

    Re: AEG T58900

e50 faults are all about motor

    E51 motor triac
    e52 motor thermal cutoff
    e53 motor triac sensing failure
    e54 motor jammed

you are seeing the cutomer code of E50 to see actual code you need to get into engineering mode ( have no info how to on this dryer )

suggest you look for motor shorts to earth first, motor getting wet will give you an E51

have got info for pnc ending 00 not 01

they are essentially the same machine but there will be differences

    E51 fault

before you check the board check motor for earth leakage. i know this is a dryer but had an auto washer in damp conditions where condensation on the motor gave me an E51 fault. quick do with the hair dryer and machine was ok

lux state motor faulty, wiring faulty, board faulty

Re: Belling SGE12X washing machine does not spin at all

if its broken through overloading you will find, where is has broken, the rubber looks burnt
if its a clean break prob a duff belt

make sure the drum turns freely and does not catch as i have had things get under the drum and jam it causing the same fault

Re: Belling SGE12X washing machine does not spin at all

just as likely as any other fault

    but

you have to find out if there is any reason why the belt has fallen off. check the drum pulley to see if its loose.

has the machine been making a lot of noise on spin lately and is there signs of leaking water round the drum pulley

if no to all the above put the belt bach on (its elasticated)

Re: Amica AWCM10L runs briefly then goes to ‘END’

first thing to strike me is the door lock problem

door should not lock untill machine starts

check triac on board for short circuit

Re: Leisure EB10CRX range oven thermal fuse

    check the oven temp

after all this stat is meant to go only if the temp gets too hot

also does your oven have a cooling fan (some do ). if it has and its not working this will cause it

    is it filling fast enough?

different times of day give different water pressure. since it is most likely used early evening when pressure may be lower

    just a thought

Re: smeg built in dishwasher flashing all lights

agree its the power supply cap gone

you only have to replace the large 1.5uF cap the other 2 will be ok

what is happening is the module is running out of power when it tries to turn on the heater relay and the computer crashes, reboots, and starts again
