Re: Miele T430 Wont reverse – relay? where is it? Part No?

prob be a relay and it will be cheap ( could be a bad solder joint)

its prob on the pcb board trace motor wires to find it

will prob be a shrack relay which you can get for under £10

    Re: Lg DD motor problem

    bit more complex than that

this is a direct drive motor that is driven by a module that creates a variable frequency 3 phase supply

so no capacitor. its either the motor windings gone or the module only giving out 2 phases

you can check all wires and connections to motor in case you get lucky. think this motor is guarenteed for 10 years from lg but you would have to check. check motor windings with your meter for resistance etc

Re: AEG lavamat turbo (L 14710-VIT) washer/dryer will not wa

    no problems

fault happens a lot in machine where the dryer is seldom used.
if you do replace element, or heat it up to dry it out, use the dryer for about an hour a month to keep it dry

    if i am right

turn knob to six o clock

press and hold spin speed button

turn prog knob 1 click clockwise

    release spin speed button

may take a couple of tries

if it has locked out check brushes first it locks out to protect motor

Replaced Magnetron and now working fine. The unit does not have a capacitor, therefore was quite safe to work on once unpluged. Only an idiot would work on an inverter supplying 5000v to the magnetron whilst the unit was switched on! :rolls:

and there are a lot of idiots out there 😆

had a proffessional kill himself about 20 years ago when he took a positive fom a mag on one microwave to power another and did not realise it was earth return

with these units if the microwave magnetron does not start the units stops the programme

its not a thing you want to mess with these units work on 5000v

get it checked by a professional

does the red light go out and stay out?

when it does if you raise and lower stat can you hear it clicking

if no click it prob the stat.
if it clicks and the light does not go on and off then it may be elsewhere

    goto

    http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spareparts/search

    put in your Enr shv55m03gb/79

and you will get list of parts and diagrams

door switch you were talikg about part number 187205

what worries me is it may be the heater itself part number 496153. which is a lot dearer and a lot more difficult to fit or a fault on a solder joint in the timer arcing and throwing the trip

it is difficult to say an exact price to call out to check it over. have a look here

    Re: smeg d/washer

dont know this models timer very well but i would look at pcb to see what sort of power supply it uses. the early ones used a 1.5uF cap which is prone to failure and acts like a low battery fault. ie turn one thing on ok turn on two and timer crashes (see stick above on pcb repairs )

also early models use to throw up fault when the soap draw solenoid was faulty dont know if this fault still causes probs on the later one
finally look for earth leaks causing all sorts of probs on machines these days

you have an earth fault on the machine that can be cause by various things including leaks
as above it could be the switch but from how you descibe it may not be
you need to find a trusted local repairer (through this site) to come out and give you an informed honest opinion

Re: hoover nextra hnf3147 spin problems

out of balance is the load in the drum and has nothing to do with where the machine is

brushes could be going but they will be sparking and you will be able to hear it if you listen hard with no washing in

i would check filter for blockages and try with no washing in first to see if it will spin.

small loads are more likely to fail spin due to being unbalanced
