ModeratorRe: Smeg oven tripping
what worries me is that you had to replace the 13a fuse when you first put the element in. thats not tripping its a short circuit
as for tripping now are you talking tripping an RCD or do you mean blowing 13a fuses ?

ModeratorRe: Indesit PWDC8125 – condenser valve
if you use earth as your base you should get 240v on one of them as most of these valves are neutral switched

ModeratorRe: Bosch1200Classixx
that is a very weird fault
no switches or sensors will cause this. assume the display light go out as well
sounds like a board fault but cant be certain without inspection

ModeratorRe: Smeg SUK92MFX5 oven clock/timer problems
no batteries its mains powered
you either need a new clock or it can be bypassed so oven will work without

ModeratorRe: Indesit PWDC8125 – condenser valve
as far as I know all coils are 230v it will be marked on the coils so you can check
as far as the 85v is concerned I assume you are measuring it with the coil out of circuit. since you meter is so sensitive it will measure slight voltage leaks. in this case it will be less current than a neon screwdriver but enough to give you a rogue reading.
only measure voltages with the coils in circuitunfortunately I cannot tell you why it does not energise

think I would look first it
it has a ribbon cable may be dirty contacts or damaged cable
but you better warn cust it may not work again if you turn it off

ModeratorRe: Candy CDI 1012
this sort of fault is beyond the average person unless you have electrical knowledge
the machine most likely has an earth leakage fault and you have to find which component has failed
Long shot have you tried machine in a different socket. if the socket is sparking inside it can blow trips
most likely faults
leak
heater
motorthink the tumble dryer would be easier to fix
hope it helps

ModeratorRe: Lamona Hob HJA1613
this is a Beko and they have surpassed themselves by the lack of information given
there is a list of fault codes but no description about what they all mean and there is not an F81 fault as the list only goes as high as F63
also the troubleshooter is as good as useless as right in the middle it asks is the comutator faultybut looking at this there is not a lot of stuff in it so my guessing is the board is faulty. you can check continuity of rings for open circuit etc
this should be part number 663260131
full info
prod code 7756286353
HJA1613can send you wiring diag if you need but the rest of the info is not nuch good

ModeratorRe: SIMPLE PCB REPAIR TIPS
Gram Fridge K400RU and similar freezer
danfos board 077F2310BJ and 077F2311RU
was asked to take a look at this unit and a freezer of the same make
both these units use a small Danfoss control board mounted at the top
fault was no compressor run
fault was traced to the relay on the board which is a bi-stable relay, therefore the voltage is only applied momentarily, so it is difficult to measure the voltage at the relay to determine if its failed
during the time I played with this board I found a test procedure that was aimed probably at production testing. both the boards in these units have 3 push buttons but only 1 is obviously accessible but the other 2 are there but you have to feel for them.
procedure
turn off unit at wall
press and hold centre and right hand button
turn on unit at wall
after a few seconds release buttonsif you now press the left hand button the relay will open and close press once “open” press again “close” and so on
it will revert to normal operation after about 30 secs or if you turn off and on again
at £100 a board or there abouts and in short supply this is a much cheaper option
hope this helps someone
