Re: Bosch 1200 classixx express – WAE24162GB running hot

    this still sound weird

the heater only come on during the wash cycle. the rinses do not last long enough for cold water to get as hot as you say.

so in my opinion there is one of 2 thing happening

1 you are mistaken and it is pulling hot water. you can check this by watching machine go through cycle and see if the soap draw get hot
2 it is not draining the wash water out so the hot water is still in the machine at the end

think you need to set a wash and watch it. wait till it pumps out at the end of the wash and refills cold. check it is cold and if so does not get hot while it is rinsing

this is the conditioner draw. when this draw fill up it start a syphon to drain it
most likely it needs cleaning they block up easily

    Re: Fan Issue

bit vague but i am reading like this

you had a fault with the oven so you turned it off and fixed it.
now when you turned back on the top oven and grill works ok but the main oven does not.
i am also assuming the fan does not work nor does the element

    2 things
1 if the clock is not set the oven will not work
2 unless the door is closed some of these oven dont come on

sounds like the hot water is going into machine on rinses
select a rinse programme and see if the water going in is hot. if yes the you should have it connected to cold water

make sure you have cold water feed to the machine if its got 1 pipe. if it has 2 pipes make sure hot and cold are on the correct connections

from what i can see this is a very simple dryer. no pump so gravity drain to tank
i assume you have checked water flow into tank in case valve is blocked

looking on connect can see there is no daig on this model for cabinet

    but

    looking at model KDW241FI/B

    item 122 on mediator

i think part you may need is 0120100053

these are the wires that come from the top through the door spring adjusters

hope i am right but a bit vague description and from another model but good chance its the same part

not had this prob but my eye was drawn to the fact the machine was only 14 months old

if you think it serious get the customer to contact the retailer quoting the sale of goods act and “not of merchantable quality” “not fit for purpose” as machine has not lasted a reasonable lenght of time

look up the act its all online and the retailer is liable because thats where the contract is in law. dont be fobbed off with a referral to the manufacturer

    short answer is no

cant see any reason why you cannot fit metal case version. my only advise would be make sure customer cannot touch the metal case or nut when machine plugged in. if they can earth it

Re: Tecnik Double Fan Oven: Intermittent Earth Leakage Trip

the problem with RCD’s is it is cumulative

ie it takes 30mA to trip an RCD. if you oven leak 20 then it wont trip till other things add up to over 30.

the oven element is the most likely. to be sure you either have to change it or get an electrician to megger test it for eart leakage. dont forget you have more than 1 element in the cooker and 1 or all could be faulty you just have to find which one

these light are neons. neon lights turn on with very little current. ( ie a neon screw driver light up when you touch a mains wire and the current flows through your body to light it )

so a very small glow on a neon is not a big problem. if you have an RCD on your fuse board that protects the circuit you can rest easy there is no problem as this would trip well before there was any problem that can injure you

Re: Bosch WFF2001 Broken RHS Drum Spring

if you say it moved out slowly

i am assuming you had it unbolted at the bottom and gravity was pulling it down ( well gone if thats the case )

you have to put force on these to get them to move. new ones you would have to put the at least same amount of force as lifting a pint ( most times more)

if you push down on the drum from the top and let go in quick succession you should not be able to bounce the drum as the shock should resist this. Just like a car when you push the wing down

Re: Bosch WFF2001 Broken RHS Drum Spring

did you check the shock absorbers?

more often than not worn shocks cause the drum to bounce wildly and over stress the spring
