    Re: Dixons Merger With…

was not long ago carphone wharehouse was taken ove by Best Buy if there is a merger between carphone wharehouse and dixons there must be some redundencies as we have a site locally with all 3

    this is a long shot

if you look up timer for PNC 914001129 00 and timer for
PNC 914001129 01 they come out to the same number although they were not when they were built
the 01 model does have a soap draw motor unit whereas the 00 unit does not. so there must be a plug on the timer to blank out this option on the 00 model which i am assuming yours is. If this plug has dropped off or is not making contact the result will be the timer will stop as yours does as it wait for the signal to fill. may well be the wire that now feeds the valves

as i say long shot but worth a punt

you fault descrition is a bit wooly

set to quick wash and nothing happens

you then rotate dial 2 clicks clockwise and it will ( what prog is this ?)

does this on most other settings

you can set it on any programme and it wont start but if you move it 2 clicks it will ?

did have a look got no service info for this machine exept wiring diag and what is labelled a training manual

    i would check
    water valves
soap draw unit. This machine should have a motorised soap draw the moves to allow water to go into correct compartment if it has check motor has not failed as it wont start unless motor is in correct position for the set programme

elements normally work or they dont from what you say it does sound more like a bad connection the makes sometimes. if this bad connection sparks then it can blow an rcd

element is in a box at the top of the machine. check all the thermostats on this box for signs of loose connections or burning

Re: electrnic components for pcb control modules

short answer is no until you get power back to the board and see what happens

the only way you could do it is power it from an external source
find a dc power supply 12 to 15 volts
remove transformer so things cant short out
connect wires to C8 capacitor on board
connect external power supply you these wires makes sure +ve and -ve are the correct way round
try board on bench first if you get lights replace board in machine and see if it works
apart from that you could send board to emw they should have a board they can supply without exchange but you will have to ask

Re: electrnic components for pcb control modules

to my knowlege the wma50 board uses a switch mode power supply ( the tranformer is not connected to the mains)
    complete board part no C00202268

therefore if the transformer has gone it will have taken other components with it ie driver ic TNY254G
take parts off another board the whole range uses same power supply if you want one will take one off an old board and post it to you but as i said just the transformer will do you no good and if it has gone with a bang it may have taken out main control chips

have you looked in the roof of the soap draw?

normally there are a few small holes where the water comes through to fill the fabric conditioner compartment. if these are blocked with soap powder or mould etc it wont work

Re: Beko WM 5140 W pump filter issue

would like to bet you have hairclips, or bra wires, or lollpop sticks etc caught in the pump

to open filter you have to remove the hose which goes from the tub to the pump. you ill find one of the above in the entrance to the filter unit which will be jamming the filter unit as you try to remove it. if you clear this obstruction it will open.
Do not force it you will break it and require a new pump

when a dryer senses a fiter blocked what its actually doing is sensing a rise in air temp due to lack of air flow

first thing to check is the outlet hose make sure you are getting a good flow of air out. also make sure dryer is taking in cool dry air because if it takesin the exhaust air same thing will happen

have not got acess to diags etc and qualtex and connect have very few parts listed for this model. part number for thermo is not listed on either supplier

its not a thermal fuse is ? that would make more sense ie if element overheats it turns it off

as with a lot of electronic controls triac is on neutral side so an earth fault will cause this but only provided customer has not got an rcd

if you want service info let me your email
