ModeratorRe: dishwasher stopping intermittently
their is an anti-food device on that machine
if the base of the machine is full of water ( not where you put your dishes ) then there is a float that operates a switch which makes the drain pump start and it wont stop till the water is removed
it may be a serious fault or a simple as a blockage unless someone checks you will not knowDave

turn power off
take lid off
heater box is on top front to back
you will see element connection at rear
note where they all go and there is just enough room to take them off. make sure they cant touch anything and run machine to check
if you want to fix it you need a new dryer element but you dont have to fit one if you dont use itDave

ModeratorRe: HAUS WM-1050W Control board?
if timer says motor overheats then there has to be a way of detecting it.
there is either a stat in the motor winding that is tripping, wiring to the motor that is going open circuit or the printed circuit board.
Does machine turn motor both ways ? if not look for fault reverse relay on board. look at all relays solder joints with a manifying glass you may not be able to see damage with the naked eye
dont know this machine so thats all i can suggestDave

Jim.
agree with that. The examiner on my bike test walked with a limp so would not have been able to keep up with a push bike. My emergency stop was when he stepped out into the road in front of me. I was speeding and breaking traffic rules when he could not see me 😆

ModeratorRe: hotpoint timer
remove motor from rear
remove circlip from top rod then slide out both rods
unclip switch section
gently prise off front switch section one of the contacts will stay attached to main body
if contact has melted housing and moved upwards do not remove or try to reposition
clean contacts and the one that has burnt, remove the switching strip and bend it slightly to help it make connection with both contacts ( because its melted the case and moved contact)
cafefully bring the units back together you will have to carefully push the contact that remained on the main body under the switching bar
put both timer halves back together and put rods in
test with a multimeter to see if you continuity. be aware one of the contacts wont work with timer knob in off position. waggle timer knob shaft to make sure contact wont disconnect. if it does strip down again and bend contact a bit more and repeat
when reinstalling timer clean all brass connection and use 4 new spade connectors and discard green blockhope this may help
