are you setting dryer to a time or does machine have an auto sense and defaults to 60 mins on start up and reduces when no moisture detected

not a lot u can do unless you can get board out of jelly

but look at it this way if the customer is in agreement you have nothing to loose if you can get at the solder joints even by cutting a hole in the plastic frame then you can replace it

    hope this helps

    to continue from washermanuk’s comments

a lot of dryers these days sense the moiture in the clothes and turn off when dry to save energy

either put some wet clothes in to try or look to see if there is a timed feature to turn dryer on for 20mins or so this normally does not use sensors so wont switch off

    hope this helps

    Re: belling free standing cooker

    dont know this model but

assume you are talking ceramic ring and not halogen

most elements either work or they dont so most likely to be control use a multimeter and test ring

if it is a single circuit plate you could swop live on controllers to see if fault moves to another plate

if a simmerstat is used make sure you have a quiet room. turn cooker on and listen closely for simmerstat going in and out you will probably get a buzz from ring as it is powerered up. on full power the simmerstat will not click on and off

    hope this helps

they never suck the stuff down no air flow to do it

gravity lets stuff drop in then it gets mashed up and rinses away

only had problems when motor unit not working

its a disconnect and try job

    as deltra said

    disconnect all elements
make sure all wires are clear
turn on see if it trips
if not reconnect each element in turn till it trips

dont forget the houhold trip goes out at 30ma but that not on the appliance you are on it is a cumulative figure for the whole house
so if the rest of the house is leaking 20ma you only need 10ma to trip and that 23K to earth. also if you are using a 9v meter it may not show up at all

    hope this helps

dont repair fridges but what gias said sounds about right

have talked to many engineers who have to cut a hole in the insulation attach thermistor and reseal also re-routing wires to connect up

mad i know but the thermistors are put in before case is sealing in manufacture

    hope this helps
