Re: Sale of Dangerous Parts to the Public.

i can remember having to go on a training course at Dill and sons in leeds to be able to get a number to allow me to buy Zanussi microwave spares
and sharp at the time would only supply to agents who had a list of spares they could supply to the public. if the spare was not on list the could lose their agancy if they sold it

i would be in favour of a legal ban no gas work but only when corgis monopoly is broken. i am not registered but the costs seem very high for all concerned which puts up the end cost making it more likely that a consumer will do their own repairs to save money i for one do my own boiler repairs and gas piping in my own house but have enough knowledge for there not to be a problem

i did enquire about a corgi course and was told i would have to get a plumbing qualification first which i am sur must be wrong

dont have a problem getting bearing ring out have a 97{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} success rate so far

split a new bearing into components and rebuild into rear half using 5 or 6 balls and centre of race . place balls equally around and holding in place invert tub and belt 7 bells out of race till it comes out

if you clean around ring and oil it it normally slips out without too much trouble

    Re: software required

software to reprogramme chips should not be a problem the problem is the operating software to put on the chips

have got a programmer i bought years ago to programme satellite cards and it can programme most pic chips

    http://www.adteknik.se/english/mp35ser.htm

it will read chips as well but would have to find out if that chip can be read it may be read protected in which case we need a helpful engineer

left dasa some years ago not because i did not agree with the ideals of the organization purely because of cost could not justify the cost in a rapidly shrinking market when they charged by the engineer.needed to eat occasionally

not sure if this would work but if you do not let it expire but reset the date before it does see what happens

ie put it back a week each day to see if prog reacts

    Re: TDS disc

i use a cd rom emulator this allows me to load and image of the complete cd on the hard drive and the computer treats it as a cd rom

i now have 3 ghost cd roms on my system and the system will take more if i can find more disks to run. they can be dvd or cd roms

this also means i can run one cd on several systems

    hope this helps

    Re: fuse creda

have had a fuse on a timer that is soldered into the board but if you remove it and take off the caps the value s printed on it cant remember value

older hotpoint machines used a 7a fuse if you replaced around this value you would be ok
