Moderatorby the look of it this is a self defrost unit
sometimes they get blocked with ice and the only answer is a total defrost
switch off , door open , 2 days
then see how it goes

Moderatortoc is rivetted to the mica. the chances of drilling steel rivet off mica are close to zero and then try getting rivets back
you cant buy the stat, complete heater only
but beware there is a service bulletin about fitting the heater and fitting will need email to send it to you if you want

Moderatorsometimes the use narrow tracks on board that blow like fuses
some boards do use fuses but in reality i can see it with this component

yes continuity when released open circuit when closed
but your saying lamp goes on and off so cant see switch being a problem. before with the 3 term switch was hoping half the switch was faultyon the 3 position one one wire is feed and the other 2, one fior lamp and one for fan

very cheap easy fix

as for the box there is no obvious reason for the leak but changing box cures it

Moderatorthey do look pretty universal
since i assume you swopped element you can check old NTC against new one
had a beko short an NTC out and it blew a resistor on the board so you could chack for that
you can check continuity back to board

Moderatorsounds like the lamp went pop
poss blew a hole in the main timer
may be able to be repaired but call neff out and its a £200 board

Moderatorall manuals and teat routines are on aswo
but you will need the long serial no to get correct one as there are lots with same model
are you sure parts are correct ?
there are over 40 variants of this model
