short answer donr know
its acting like a fault code but hoover dont list fault codes for this unit or at least i cant see them
not an easy tech site to find things

no you cant run a 240 v motor on less voltage and its synchronous its linked to the frequency of the AC supply so voltage cant change speed

well you said you were flushing water through the draw and the board tracks are very flimbsy and close together at the bottom of the board

behind the panel
pull of knob then plastic front slides down about 2 to 3 mm and the top can be gently prised out
after that its screws and wires

my next step would be to remove the board
have had water damage on the bottom of the control cards a few times

have not got a lot of info as its so old but if its not in the door its down below
will be under a cover in case of water if its down below

have had them short and open circuit
5.8 ohms is really suspect. most of the times these things go down in resistance when hot and at 5 ohms there is not much room to be accurate
have you got an old heater ntc to link across as a maybe test

if its no win no fee ok but dont pay them anything

i would say that far too low
41032956 should be the part nonever seen such a rangs of prices for the same part

as for the connector, had a look around but no luck yet. see if you can see a make on the old plug
