ModeratorMy guess is the board power supply chip and you would have to be able to test electronic components to fault find it.
but cant do any harm to look as long as the plug is out
Dave

Moderatorwell from what i can see this fault is the flood protector
in the base there is a unit with a float.

Moderatoris washer in exactly the same socket or the other half of a double. have had one socket go faulty
if its does turn on every now and then check the on off switchbut my thought tend towards the power supply chip on the board so looking at this depends on your skill level
Dave

Moderatorfirst thought is always the socket
after that i tend to check the board power suppliesone of the probems with later mahines is they are not off but are in standby. this means power supply components can fail even if its not in use at the time

Moderatorif the code does not come up as soon as you turn on then it has reset
if it then comes up as the programme is running then the unit still thinks the problem is there

Moderatoryes but they have a parts guarentee
you could ask how much the labour is to find out but the proce of the tub exceeds the labour cost
if you try this make sure its covered by an extended parts warranty as sometimes you have to register appliance to get it
Dave

Moderatoryes it can leak when this happens and yew you can get a new block but if the tub or block mountings are damaged its scrap
unless its covered by extended guarentees
how old is it ?

Moderatorwell you have to disconnect the hoses and remove it
after removal a lot of units allow the base to be removed from underneath
cant be certain of anything as i dont know the unit but if its leaking a lot your looking for damaged hoses etc
Dave

Moderatorlook at the routing of the drain pipe. if its in a stand pipe make sure its only push 8 inches down and not all the way. if its plumbed into a sink, make sure the hose routing does not cause air locks

Moderatorok cant see this one on Beko tech which means I cant identify the element
even looked up your ip to make sure your in the uk but it seems your not far from me in liverpool
looking at models with close model numbers i think the heater may be 2976680100
but you need to check. the problem may be any supplier may have to email Beko to chack the correct part
