also find the pump connections on the board and do a continuity test from board to pump

to check wiring is not broken somewhere

well what would worry me is why the rcd went.

have a real good look at the wiring. examine it carfully anywhere it can rub

you dont want to buy a board and find that it either does not work or worse the original fault blows the board

Was called to F&P R54OADUSX4 complaint leak from freezer. The leak is coming from the top LHS of the freezer where the ice maker unit is. Only turning off the water supply to the machine will stop the leak.

when you say turning off the water stopped the leak, is the water dripping in slowly even if machine has no power ? ie duff valve

well if you know the pump is ok and you know the float switch is ok the only things left are the wiring or the board

was the old punp faulty ? did you test it ?

the outer holes look too big to hold the pin , Are they ?

the unit uses the pump as a sensor to sense if its drained. as the pump wears iit draws more current and the board can sense this as the machine has not emptied

problem is you have to swop the pump to see if you are right or not

if it does not cure it then it is probably a board fauly

these machines can be a bit hit and miss on fault finding

had one recently
just refused to get photos, said take it or leave it and they carried on

suggest you take the side off and run the machine

you will be able to see where its coming from

cant see from the pic what the part is your talking about

well first i assume you can turn the drum by have albeit slowly

if yes turn on and start a programme and give the drum a push and see if it runs

if yes change the capacitor

I manage with a 13mm (biggest size on most chucks) and wobble it a bit as the rear hole is correct size your just drilling the front one. can be a bit fiddly gatting it to break off if you not in the middole sometimes. bosch state 13.2mm

they have had a few companies doing similar things so insiat on some money upfront and if it needs parts get paid before you order
