but it was last priced at £74 which is a bit steep for a draw front

all you can do for now is remove the draw. check continuity on both lid jacks plus their connections in the box at the rear

check the wiring in the door as these had a tendancy to snap wires if the wire guard is damaged or the wires harden with age

F06 is a door lock error
the door lock closes but the machine does not know
and yes dampness may be a problem
fault list asCheck for water leaks that may affect connectors J004 (collector)
or J11 (three-phase) causing the relative contacts to short;
– Check the door lock terminal board (possible problems due to
aggression caused by manufacturing chemical residues that
may cause short circuits);
– Check J004/door lock wiring;
– Replace door lock;

manual only mentions the non integrated model
just undo 2 screws, slide back and its off
no such luck in your case

cant think of any cab where there is a rivet stopping the lid coming off. its not on of the ones with the 3rd screw at the front is it ?
