if as you say the socket is ok your looking at a problem in the machine

    mains flex
    supressor
main control board ( can sometimes be repaired if the engineer who looks at it can sort electronics )

well first thing i would is check the motor brushes. most machines have them but not all

    pull machine out
tilt it back at approx 45 degrees and climb underneath with a torch

find the motor brushes and if you find them take a screw driver and tap both brush holders 2 or 3 times firmly

then put machine down and try it

if it works you will need to replace the brushes. if you want to use before then you would have to take each brush off and spring it in and out to try to get a few mm extra so it can be used. to do the you will probably need a 5.5mm socket

if it does not work it does not mean the brushes are not faulty they will need to be romoved to find out

The bearings had failed. Since the then cost they were not willing to pay for the repair and so I kindly got given the machine for spares. When, with time on my hands I dismantled the blighter and cut the plastic tank in half to remove the drum to have a look as to why the machine had failed, in my view, prematurely. The bottom line was next to zero grease on the oil seal which caused friction = the oil seals early demise = water = nuked drum bearings.
Other machines I have seen with the same problem at 3 years old are Indesits ( sealed tank ) and some curry`s Logiks ( not sealed tanks ). Machines where it seems less likely to happen appears to be Zanussi. This is all based on my one man band, which I freely admit is a more or less a hobby business these days so take that to mean a much lower number of machines encounted.

my ex had a bosch washer dryer, one of the ones with the spider on the outside. first set of bearings failed but after replacement the new set lasted over twice as long as i greased the seal

this problem seemed to get worse when they lowered the water level, was thinking the water would act as a lubricant making the seal last longer

capacitors are measured in micro farads (uF)

if it is an 8uF thats fitted I would say fit the correct one. Its no more difficulty to get the correct one

the companies doing it are on fixed prices etc. even though you would pay it would cost to source the extra parts etc. its a lot simpler to fit the same kitchen in every house. Makes sourcing and ordering a lot easier

e4 seems to be a communication error

could need configuring or and need new board

you have to re configure after fitting new parts which is a sequence to follow on the control knobs

should be able to find out how

This is noe of those faults with no actual known cause. had a few people with this one but changing components on the hope of curing gets expensive. you could check wash motor for blockages. you can either remove it or its sometimes possible to see it with a mirror from the sump

bit odd because it says this fault code does not show unless in service mode

13 flash codes basically says main motor not running or cany detect main motor is not running
