Moderatorwell if its not too far down the pipe as it could air lock and your sure there is no blockages then it could be the pump
Bosch dishwashers measure the pump current to determine if its empty. if the pump is worn it can draw more current
they call it virtual sensors
you could remove the pump and look for tightness or play

Moderatorpaintwork on modern cheaper machines is not what it used to be. If the paintwork get wet too often it will rust
you need to put down some paper and push it under the front of the machine to try to find where the water is coming from
depending on how its plumbed in the water can also come from the plumbing and not the machine

Moderatordont thing i like the idea of turning the machine over
the old hotpoint WMA series was similar
there were engineers out there who used to use zip ties to put the belt onmy way of doing it was hook belt on the motor. there was just enough room to get your hand down and hold the belt towards the inner part of the pulley then with the other hand put your arm inside the drum and use the drum as a lever to roll the belt on. you have to be careful your fingers are not through the pulley and be aware of what will happen if the belt slips off while trying to get it on. Also never use somebody else to turn the drum so your in total control

this is the WMA video using zip tie method
