Check and make sure non of the option buttons are jammed in as I think this will give you the symptoms you are describing. 😕

If it is Handwash Wool, programme H, then there is no reverse tumble. The wash speed is also faster than normal to stick the 1Kg max load to the sides of the drum to stop fabric wear. Lots of complaints about excess vibration due to people trying to put a normal load on this programme. They see it is a 45 minute 40 degree wash and don’t look at the max load. I have never tried checking the temperature but normally advise customers not to use it except for small woollens. :rolls:

If the start button micro switch is stuck in the machine will appear to be dead when you power it on. Easy job to replace with one off a scrap board. 🙂

Fault on the NTC circuit. The constant filling and emptying is because the machine does not know if it is red hot so flushes through with cold water. Check NTC and wiring from board, if ok then board is faulty.

It will have an error code which it does not show to the customer. You need to get into the diagnostics to check. 🙂 The only ones shown to the customer are the ones they can do something about i.e. fill, drain or door open (E10, E20, E40) It will also show E90 which is pcb problem.

Probably not 🙂 If the lights came on straight away and you are counting from the top downwards then you have E90 which probably means you need to configure the new board. Change the pump and try again. 🙂

Filling and emptying at the same time is normally an NTC fault. The machine does not know if it is full of hot water so it does a continuous flush through for safety. 🙂

Think this is perfectly normal. Select the programme then the timer dial will advance to show where in the wash cycle it is but the original setting will be remembered and it will do that particular wash. So if you select a 60 wash the dial will advance but it will still do the 60 wash. Lots of calls for this from people who have had the machine for months and swear blind it has not done it from day one. 😕

This machine counts down from 3 to zero in about 3 minutes.

Do you mean from 3 hours down to 0 in 3 minutes? 😕 If so then it must be aborting after picking up a fault. You would have to go into diagnostic system to get error code.
