Think it is a divertor motor to alternate water between the top and bottom spray arms. 🙂

It should be a door lock fault. Check to see if water from the dispenser has run down over the door lock. It might have blown some tracking off the control module. 🙁

Out of balance detection can become more sensitive due to slightly worn belt or if inner drum is catching door seal . 🙂

Shaft kit comes with new shaft, bearing, rear seal, front felt ring, front bearing pads, 3 screws and new shaft pin. Depending on age of dryer the shaft may be longer than the original and the rear seal will be thicker to push the drum further forward. 🙂

Zanussi error code so problem with the drain pump. If it is only coming up on the dry cycle it might be a restricted or extended drain hose so the pump is cutting out on its overheat cut-out

If memory serves me correctly these are the Bosch models with Crosslees own brand name on and are not an easy machine to work on. Remove the top. Remove the rear element cover. Very carefully remove the siezed on rear fan using levers and a large hammer, then order a new fan 😡 . Remove the rear panel screws including the 3 centre ones for the drum rear bearing (normally very tight). Lift off the panel and leave the drum in place. Bottom left you should see the motor shaft sticking out of a plastic housing, this is attached to the main housing with two metal clips which should slide towards you to remove. The plastic housing will now lift away and the pump is behind this. Hope this is the right model 😳

    Re: Zanussi WDJ1294 Dryer Fault

Seem to remember that if it switches from dry to off in 1 minute it was the main timer that used to cause the problem. It is not sensing that a time is on the dry timer. Try putting the dry timer off and let it come off a spin. If it takes about a minute to step to off and takes the same length of time when the dryer timer is switched to a time then it is the main timer.

Check the sump hose eco-ball. If they stick the machine can think it is empty and go onto a spin full of water, pushing water out of thye door seal and soap drawer. Great design having the air chamber off the sump hose below the ball. 😕

Number 3 is the right answer 🙁 Welded tubs appear to be the future as Zanussi are also starting to use them.

    Hello Dave.
No pre-configured board for this model but you can configure the one you have. Should be part number 1321226704 or 1321226738. It is a bit of a pain to do if you have never done one before but can send details if you pm your e-mail. 🙂

Put it on a hot wash and it will pre-fill with cold water, it will then pause before filling to wash level with cold water. If the clothes are absorbent enough to drop the water level enough for it to do a top up fill it will use the hot valve. So they are not lying when they sell it as a hot and cold fill machine! Why they bother I do not know. 😕
New heater box uses the Indesit curly element as the original was breaking loose from the support bracket and causing noise and vibration. The filter has been removed so no need for the extra valve which was used to flush the filter clean. 🙂
