had this before it will work but i cant remember what i did with the aquastop plug. ❓ customer was happy as new hose was about 90 euro or a couple of quid for bog standard ,as machine was about 5 years old she said she would take the chance as if it leaked it would be the same as a machine without an aquastop.

not sure if this will help but had a similar problem with a different model and it turned out to be the water level indicator /which is a kind of pressure switch.but it could also be something in the impellor of the main wash motor.

replaced the ntc but no joy i cant find anything else wrong with it so i suspect the board?

i dont know if this is worth posting but here goes.
whirlpool D/W with flow meter fault you can check the reed switch with a magnet and meter if it doesnt work easy to replace .i usually get them from maplins .a lot cheaper than having to buy full matrix from whirlpool.Re: WD61 occasionally tears clothes.
have this problem on a wd63 but there seems to be a bit of wear on the seal at top as if the drum is rubbing against it ,customer swears he is not overloading it,i am going to try a new door seal and see how i go.
