    Re: bosch or lg?

nah ah, the 1256 and 1456 are now coming out of china from same factory as base spec samsung/amicas and statesmans.

actually cant fault the chinese lg build quality tho – only things that appear to have changed are inlet feeds and white instead of yellow installation sheets. so as ive been told umpteen times, a man. plant will produce a product only as good as is economically viable to produce… regardless of geography

as for bosch, meh. classixx these days are alright but not imo as good a value for money as the LG’s

wasnt aware classixx bosch was turkish tho?? thought it was still spanish… thought the turk bosch were tacticals ???
or have i got that back to front?

Re: New Built Under Oven Advice

bi70’s are assembled in britain, but componentry is all over the world.

not to slag off the brits but bellings are now overpriced. id get a slovakian gorenje with a long warranty

dont know how reliable new neff and bosch are but been having issues with last 6 years worht of bsh b/u gear with half moon elements, whihc has affected other engineers on here too.

graded h/p built under seems to be fairly well appreciated by our customers on a budget, or miele if you go top end, but be prepared to pay miele servicing prices. not cheap…

other than that go to twin single ovens – more main oven space for a start, and a working back up if one fails…

main board dry joint and didnt want to try a repair “it didnt seem to wash too well anyway”

ps connects solenoids will not fit for the widl126 – right type of terminals, just wrong configuration of teeth to fit

Re: Can I do this? Bosch built in oven

id still go for 2x single ovens under copunter personally, the pic doesnt convey how the extra height of the oven compared to rest of the worktop significantly visually reduces the size of the kitchen!

    hope this helps advise!

any outcome known yet? have generally found elux diagnostics to be fairly good at pinpointing component issues

put a brand new one in a couple of years ago that had a really dodgy flex and took h/p 6 months to not work out that the flex kept causing it to cut in and out.

Re: Belling, no grill or hotplate?

also for future reference, most the stoves/bellign fan ovens have a overpriced gdha element in them, directly sourced from beko.

for recent 50cm f.s belling/stoves fan ovens use this element 462900010 -a tenner vs £25!!

elder couple. used twice a week, feel 4 years is a bit of a short life.

willing to spend up to £150 so have ordered hot feed solenoid (£6) and just whipped off a triple sol from teh display wdl520, so armed with these ill give it a shot tomorrow. fingers crossed.

emw seem 50/50 that it might fix it as the widl boards they normally fix where machines will constantly fill/drain usually dont show a clear error code being displayed. hmmm – interesting

can only try so will keep you all informed of progress 🙂

    Re: widl126uk light 2 / F04

if it is corrupt tho, would the ps cause the corruption? theres no point in sending it off to find out the board is fixable but it needs £120 of other kit too… :s
