Re: belling built in double oven

if its 2004 it should have an “xou” mod. code

    is the d/o: b/u, or b/i ?

    colour ?

does the customer not have a generic user manual with several similar generation model no.s listed on the front cover? (most latter bellings will have 3-6 models listed on dfront one manual)

if its tenanted and no manual on site then often letting agents have the hardcopy.

if all else fails there will be a perfectly readable label on *at least* the back of the oven assuming ur willing to work for your money 🙂

    Re: Double or single oven?

or if you want much better capacity go for matching singles – one, over the other (space allowing)

and IF you can get a *graded* hotpoint oven, they dont need bargepoles as they are fair value for money, unlike their *perfect* priced brethren

hi can i ask why you didnt get the engineer to replace the heater element?

had you done so they could have been out on a recall now and you wouldnt be left with a problem.

not worked on that exact model, but if its got one of the instantaneous door locks, if theres a leak or pressure issue, it can give impression of not locking, when it has in fact locked and then unlocked… instantly…

the reason why its going to 0 is because the first part of any programme is a component self test cycle. this can take less than a couple of seconds so when everything is ok, u would never know it happens. however, it might be the element failing has stuffed up another part like a thermostat etc, which is now being flagged up on the self test. or it might have done something to an electrical component on the board.

this model does have an engineers diagnostic system to allow compentent persons access to the more major error codes. just because it hasnt shown you an error code, doesnt mean the problem hasnt got one, it might be worth reinvesting in the engineer who diagnosed your element failure to come out again, obv assuming he has relevant experience of zanussi diagnostics 🙂

PS its also worth a check that the plastic floating ball hasnt been lost (i,e taken out and not put back in) if the rubber sump hose has been disconnected.

does it come with a remote control to operate it?

of course, im being silly, but actually – thats an idea as it would free up internal cavity space if you didnt have to make room for airspace to prevent overheating of electronic regulators etc… hmmm.

openspace? pah. bring on bosch maxxspace. you watch this space 😀

this isnt me being sarcastic, but genuinely interested as to what that would be ?

if its for a machine that would work in below ind. std temps, remember, lawyers are paid to be smart, and also have internets and maybe this sounds fanciful, but if such a case was to enter a court it would not be difficult to track this thread down, connect you to it, use it as evidence that you had doubts to the validity of bekos claims, and therefore probably be able to get your case thrown out on a technicality or even worse, untruth, if you used naivity of manufacturers claims.

this is all of course, hypothetical 🙂

dammit you know when your getting old when pranking the first timers is your main source of humour. worrying thing is im entering my 10th year of festivals and after getting there last year and seeing all these paraletic 15 year olds i thought dang it im too old for this… about an hour after camping up with my ex-college mates *basicall reading is our annual reunion* we felt like the schoolkids who were just untouchable in the top year.

cant remember on the dc03 but 4/7/14s are just brushroll and soleplate off the soleplate holder (coloured flexiplastic bit) out – beware of snapping the hard plastic foot clips that hold it in, then couple of torx screws on the cover, and then itshould come out. they are stiff.

theres several fairly in depth online tutorials tho so just google dyson servicing
