Re: Massive Samsung Recall For Exploding Fridges!

customers always seem to quote the “original” or rrp price, not what they actually paid for it.

take ebay for example. some of the prices they say they paid for things really make you wonder!

Re: Stoves 110 Cooker hood 444445522

what style cooker hood is it?

    trad chimney? curved glass?

also is it defo a stoves hood, or is it an unbranded kitchenfitters version of a stoves model?

i perused gdha spares and couldnt find any isting for that SKU

also might be worth asking the customer who supplied it and if it was part of a all-in-one package of hood s/back and range ???

googled the sku and for example on espares it seems odd they also offer grill pans and 300* oven bulbs for the same sku, along with the 40w ho0od bulbs…

yeh its come in, looking like it will be an araldite and putty bodge repair, but i dont hold out much hope lol.

a match up would be fine if the knob just had a line on it but its got all the numbers of the programs on it instead, so matching up will be a nightmare

might have to transfer all the progs onto the fascia, and then find a knob with a line on it

if anyone drags out a scrap one, can they let me know pls?

also jim, have you got a hpt code for it?

cant remember if ive got a 61 or 62 in the workshop, will check tomorrow, am stripping it for parts (after replacing pump 8 months ago, and gasket 3 months ago) but ur welcome to the timer, cos the numptys pockets were full of 2inch screws which have now jammed and knackered the drum.

    i do wonder why i bother sometimes…

ive been given a programmer knob but apparently “both” are needed.

You will only have to pay their very modest :rolls: labour charge of £104.95.

You can’t buy a machine for that price so let them repair it, run it into the ground and buy a decent machine next time round.

    ❗ ❗ sorry for the hijack ❗ ❗

Jim, got a small concern – spoke to HP service earlier this week warrantying a machine for the 5 year parts cover only and theyre telling me that if customer doesnt take out the XTD labour warranty as well the call out is now £105 + 48 (or something close) quid for the the first hours labour. have things changed now? i sold the machine on the premise the 5yrs parts cover was based on a £105 call out charge. are they being sneaky, or just lying to me cos they did sound a bit gutted when they couldnt sell me anything 😀

same price for hp. 17,39 for electruepart tho!

it was explained to me tho that customers on the highest rate discount levels will pay 5-10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} markup on oem trade spare buy in prices, instead of a {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount off srp, whereas prices for own-spec spares are based on that system where you get a {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} level discount of the srp!

if it helps, on several occasiona have come across overloaded drums causing the drum pulley to bang on the waste water exchanger/container. if this was the cause tho i can only assume why it only happens on rinse cycles due to the extra weight from the extra water in the rinse cycle unsettling it…

checking is easy as there will be grazing and goudging on the drum side of the plastic tub that the waste hose joins on to. plug out and lid off to inspect.

ps wff2001s are at least 8 years old.
