    is the bitron door lock, which incorporates the relay now, so theyre not interchangeable

    its more like the display pcb is fubar!

    the other thing to look at of course, is the solder joints on the on off switch itself

    luckily, its still on, quite often they drop off

    you obviously havent had the joyous wd860p pcb scenario yet

    take it off, and refit everything first

    one of the naff pieces of plastic will be unclipped

    id be trying that first, its quite common

    quite often with those dryers, its because the sensor strip has a plastic sleeve under it, which comes adrift

    u need to check continuity, between the sensing sleeve and the drum, there should be no contact, if there is, u need to rectify that problem

    it wont be a pcb fault, not for that fault

    its a write off, the gas system is faulty, its leaking internally, and cant be repaired, im afraid

    of course a defrost cures it immediately, the doors are not cheap

    im sure that model hasnt got a thermostat, but a pcb…but with the way your describing your problem i suspect its more likely to be a statem problem

    they were quite prone to corroding on the inlet pipe to the concealed evaprator, they lose gas, and run erattically

    if you open the door and press firmly on the back wall , where the ice is, does it flex a little, or is it firm?
    how old is it?

    itll be the heater

    plug out…. take off back banjo shaped panel…. if water comes out, the you need to dry it all out with a hairdryer , including the heater
