but if you unplug it, and take the back panel off, all will be revealed, although at the age of the dryer, the heater could have gone… a quick continuity test on the heater/stats will comfirm which part is faulty

whats happening, is, technically,your buying a substandard machine twice, theyre so bad, they all need something doing within 19 months

best thing to do… and every indesit/hotpoint customer should do it, is vote with their feet, that being cut your losses, buy a better quality machine, and if everybody did it, theyd soon start panicing

there is a version of all of them now with no eprom

youll need a smart card to reprogramme it

but for now, ull need to fit an eprom, if the other board hasnt got a removable one in it

what ppl are trying to say, is that the only way to get to the spider out is to take the whole tank assy out of the top of the machine, and work on it from there

not easy, just be careful of sharp edges and the weight of the drum assy

when you get it out, then you can take the front of the tub off, remove the pulley, then knock the drum out

its safety glass, and doesnt explode, it shatters

so ud have to be pretty close to do any kind of harm, or indeed sat practically in or in front of the oven
you make me laugh, personally, id have swept the glass up, and made sure my child was ok
