Participantbe a good experience for you
DO NOT BUY A HAIER
if anyone thinks the indesit stuff is doo doo, they seen nothin till theyve watched one of these babies just trying to spin, never mind tryin to be quiet while therye doin it… if they havent blown up long time previous
spend the money and pick a better quality machine
prevention is often better than cure in my opinion

Participantfailing to read ntc
could be ntc, could be a broken wire
more likely to be a fubar pcb, like i said
helo_75
Participantactually, the newer ones arent that bad, thats because we do that many of them so often
its not the fact theyre not easy to work on, its the fact theyre pants

Participantits common practise for manufacturers to wire the switch in with the pump, its just an antiflod protection, in case of valve failure.. if the valve sticks open then the machine will empty itself when it fills up to a certain level
its to stop flooding you out while your out, thats allas suedehead says, if the doors locking, and it doesnt start, then its nearly always the pcb on a servis
advice? servis pcbs are ridiculously priced and horrendously unreliable, cut your losses and go and buy a new one
just not a haier
or a indesit
or a hotpoint
or a servisspend a little more and head towards the bosch section, the cheaper machines are false economy
hope this clarifies things a little better?

Participantthat pipe will have a hole in it somewhere……….

Participantif the clothes are indeed warm, the condenser is blocked ( the white duct from under the fan motor to the back of the drum (be careful if your taking it off, theres some razor sharp edges)
if its just cold then the usual suspect is the thermal link wire to the heater ( yello sheath)
a simple test with a meter should confirmmy moneys on the condenser being blocked
