or one of them damn haier things that really just want chickin

Participanthave you made sure the rinse hold option isnt activated?
other than that, try the obvious ( the pump filter)

Participantnope…sounds more like a pcb prioblem tbh

Participantmr p is spot on .. the new range of white knight dryers are nothing but pants
ive lost count of how many of the new ones ive fitted drums/supports/back panels on.. they are simply cheaply and badly designed
its been well documented on here many a time that theres only really the zanussi dryers that are in any way reliable
i aint seen a zanussi dryer with a water tank at the bottom for quite some time
but, its your call at the end of the day

Participantzanussi wins that one hands down
just read the forums… indesit/hotpoint stuff..it really isnt that reliable, the electronics are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard
yet the zanussi, despite some failings is far more reliable
both will have a welded tub, thats for sure, but zanussi electronics seem far more reliable than the indesit stuff
i think, as im sure others will agree, the zanussi would certainly be a better option for the money

Participant8 flashes is a heater relay fault
thats normally a pcb problem.. not going well is it
id let it dry out for a bit.. maybe somethings got damp?

Participantyep.. the dryers faulty
take your pick.. blocked condenser.. thermal fuse… heater.. fan motor… all the above… the usual culprit is the ntc tbh, but you can take your pick from any of them.. best thing to do is systematically test each component with a multimeter, with the plug out

Participanthmm, u sure its not an rs21?
theres a sticker on the inside of the fridge, on the left hand side, just above the second shelf, the model number will be on there
im not sure i recognise that number, but i could be wrong?
helo_75
Participantbuy a van, advertise, hope wprk comes in!!!
helo_75
Participantor clean the condenser out so it can deal with the steam in its own environment
helo_75
Participanttough one
the last one i had was the display pcb, but ive had both do it
expensive for either or…..
helo_75
Participanti think if hes cut away at the insulation to get at the sensor, and refoamed, it would be easy to spot were it is, wouldnt it?
