actually, thats not how it works
i suspect you bought it from comet… and its a major component failure.. theyre obliged to repair it for you
give em a call
al5 is usually the iwms tank gunged up
best bet is to replace it (lots of towels handy)
cant get on procorner at mo, im sure one of the guys will come up with a part number shortly

sounds like a cooling fan problem
its there to cool down the knobs/oven door
located on the top of the cooker, its a different fan to the main oven fan
a word of advice from a comet engineer
get your money back and run
evidentally you either bought it as a managers special or from the auction site?
that machine by rights should be £699

its been on the cards for some time
certain large retailers have already offered their services
just a matter of dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s from what ive heard
not good for the indesit engineers , is it?
ill keep saying it, other than the independants, engineers that work for large companies are often undervalued, underpaid and over worked
sometimes i wonder whether its worth buying a van – could it really be all that bad?
