Participantdont you have your reciept?
proof of purchase is all thats required
oh, and by the way, to cure your IMMEDIATE problem, a good 36hr defrost will cure your problem temporarily
you will also need to defrost it for a full 48 hrs before the bosch engineer comes , so he can get in there to do the repair
whichever way you look at it, without giving too much away, your fridge freezer requires more than one modification to allow it function correctly
yes, its parts and labour guarantee
hope this helps, bosch are one of the best companies to deal with – give them a call, you may get a pleasant surprise

Participantwell, trust me, it is mate…. and id give penguin a ring if he can do it in less than an hour
really is a pain its in such a tight space, you have to start pulling things apart just to get to it
wont a bit of silicon do?
helo_75
Participantnope, youll need to fit an eprom to it!
ok, here comes the hard part
depending on which variant it is, theres actually 2 boards for that machine,, and more than 4 eproms
mitigating factors? hot and cold fill or just cold fill? 2.7 software or 3.5? motor stack is another thing they mention (50mm or 45mm)
to be more precise (and believe me it does matter ) , the production code woud be more helfull (on the sticker on the rear in brackets)
and the production numer off the sticker inside the door, and the serial number
sorry to throwe a spanner in the works, but fitting a pcb on its own wont work -
