use 210110544 , it replaces the inline fuse, and is much easier to replace when it goes

theres a good chance the brushes have worn in the motor, and blown the pcb

take the pcb off and have a look… youll see where the track has blown on the motor/door lock plug

its quite common…. im just not always sure the motor is repairable after its gone that bad

i take it you have cleared out the drain hole between the pump housing and the condenser chamber

sticka cable tie through at the pump side, then stick your hand in the front and pull out what was obstructing it!

you need to get the knob off

if u look closeley, theres 3 locating lugs around the rear edge of the knob, u can see them from the inside of the machine if you look forward

push them with a small screwdriver and the knob will come off

the rest is pretty simple tbh

    erm

if its a new wave, and it hasnt had a conversion to timer and pcb, and has the a/b board on, then the pcb will be faulty

they were, in the day notorious for allowing the heater to be on when the machine wasnt on a dry

easy to check if you use an ameter when the machine isnt running

In the absence of any other rational and plauseable way a system such as this could possibly work it’s hard to imagine I could possibly be wrong. Furthermore I’m certain no-one from Comet could possibly reason otherwise.

sort yourself out martin, youre certainly not always right

someone else hit the nail right on the head

for someone who thinks they know everything, you have to accept that no response doesnt make what you say right, does it?

So what is the scam here?

However, I wouldn’t mind betting each of their 500 ‘engineers’ have been ‘briefed’ to ensure that motor, drum, module and other such high cost repairs are stamped BER in every instance. And possibly a brand new machine, at a discounted price of course, will be delivered shortly afterwards.

    WE LIVE ELECTRICALS……!!! 😈

    Thats what i thought. 😆

    and your both wrong

cooling fan is the usual culprit on those

its hard to guess.. best bet is take top and right hand side panel (looking from front ).
    and look and listen

sorry i cant be more helpful…but it could literally be anything.noises are very hard to diagnose without looking and listening

of your room temperature drops below 10 degrees, the thermistor gets out of its normal tolerance level and the pcb cannot read it

ony a hoover (or comet) engineer can reprogramme it, you need a memory writer to do it!
