im sure you’ll go far, talking yourself out of work, a relay takes about 15mins to change, and is certainly a cheaper option

one day, your gonna realise that indesit/hotpoint are plainly ripping people off, and we all should try and help the customer, not the manufacturer, who will invariably grow bigger, and more powerful, and make it so the conusmer HAS to go back to them for the repair

    and that is inherrently wrong

try loking at the bigger picture

a door lock may be the problem

simple to change, by peeling the door seal back , undoing the two screws and removng the lock

however , commonly, it could be the spring behind the handle, and thats worth checking

quick way to check would be to close the door, start a program and when it doesnt start, push back on the handle on the inside of the dorr, if the then works, its the spring rather than the lock

that is of course, uless the brushes have worn down, and its blown the board, but thats not so common

    hope this helps

    nope, it just happens

did he lie it on its side?
could just be wet, i suppose
its not likely to be with the pump

    oh dear
e90 is non communication between pcb’s

could just be a bad connection between the blue ribbon between pcb’s!!

check connections there (with plug out), theyre at the top of the machine

try it again, jst hope it doesnt need a new pcb!

what he means, is.. have you checked the brushes in the motor?

nope, youll need to purchase an eprom as well.. the one on your existing board simply wont fit

as usual, the eprom depends on the sensor
does it have a metal band around the drum?

might be worth taking advantage of hotpoints £89 fixed price repair, at least then that covers you for every eventuality

f05 is ‘no feedback from the pump’ so if youve changed the pump, it has to be the pcb, im afraid

as for the pcb, check the wires back from the pump to the pcb, and check for any fried connections/tracks around that area (plug out, of course)

    hope this helps

    it could just be blocked

if you wanna change it, check if it has a sealed base 1st

if it hasnt, yes u can do it from underneath
