lerch is right, your heaters faulty

id be changing it as soon as poss

when the insulation goes down, it does stop the machine spinning, and if you turn the temp guage down, it will spin

so your machines worked the opposite way

    id deffo change it

well, it will if one of the stats is faulty

if you order the evaprator, it comes with the heater, fuse and sensor

its the only way you’ll get a heater

u need then to prize the heater off the evaporetor, and fit it to your old one

im sure someone will be along shortly to advise you on part numbers/availabilty

might be a good idea to change the evaporator cover while you have it off, to ensure a lasting repair

    hope this helps

    is it vented well
i.e if you put your hand on the hose, is there adequate airflow?

most dryers have some sort of cut out if they over heat

it could be a fan problem, thats why u need to check airflow

other than that, its possibly a regulating thermostat problem

sorry to be a bit vague, but we need a bit more info

theres two different kind of heaters on that display
plug out first, take off rear fan cover, and the heater and stats are located on the inside, screwed to it

    is there 2 or 3?

u can get the stat kit im sure, available through the store

your doing it again adam 👿

time and time again, you make sweeping statements based on things you have no idea about

teresa was asking advice about installation, thats all

kwatt has a point, and , genuine engineers , the likes of kwatt, iadom and myself do find installation problems on a regular basis

this site is designed to help, not frighten people away

i just hope teresa sees that, and returns at some stage if she needs any help

im no angel, i admit there are times when i may have an edge to my comments, but at least im constructive

remember, adam, brain into gear before typing, you wont win any friends by being overly objective

teresa, if you read this, can you let us know how you’ve gone on please

i would think they mean the drum paddles

but that wont stop it heating
theres a heater cut out over the heater, thats more likely to be the problem

    plug out if your checking!!!

you need to also be checking the defrost element/thermal fuse AND sensor.. theres a good chance another component is faulty as well

    now?

so are these machines out now?

i heard about these 3 months ago, but still aint seen one

    how does it work then?

gas ovens have cooling fans too

    theyre fairly quiet too

unless its a prestige/delonghi, and they always rattle and are a pig to change

cooling fans seem to be becoming the norm now… stops things discolouring/knobs melting/people not getting burnt, etc, etc

unless someone does know one that doesnt have one……..
