    omg

dont EVER blow up an analogic switch!!

they measure air frequency digitally, and there will never be a click

e30 is an icongruency between analogic and antiboil switch ( the one with the click)

blowing up the tube simply destroys the switch

ive made that mistake, and it explains the e30 fault, new analogic switch required im afraid

if you enter the diagnostics and scroll trhough the controls, it will fill and show u the water volume as it increases on the display, its the only way youll ever test it

    costly lesson :lesson:

if the heater does indeed check out ok, maybe its a thermistor/pcb problem, possibly a pressure switch fault

call someone proffesional in, and theyll get into the diagnostics, and it will tell you itself whats wrong

aint an easy one, that im afraid

    £50 is cheap

dont undervalue yourself.. customers never see the hell they put you through on the refresher, nor do they understand the massive safety implications

they’ll be the quickest on the fone if theres a problem, try and call british gas/stoves out for £50.. theyll laugh at you

gas trained engineers are like rockin horse dung, and, as ive said before.. its not for customers to dictate how much we charge for our services

put it up to £60 if they dont have it repaired, fine, charge em £60 for plumbing their new one in

ask yourself this? how much would a plumber charge for a basic installation ( asssuming all the pipework was correct?)

exactly.. but you’ll ony charge £50 for stripping down a cooker, repairing it, doin a tightnes and soundness test, and basically being responsible for every gas appliance in their building?? think about it

    whats this napti thing then?

peel the door seal back when the doors closed, and see if the light is on

unusual, cos normally, it would melt the ice

more likely to be a pcb fault in fairness
