Re: Hotpoint WD420 flashing power light

:S you’ve just opened a right can of worms there

betya life its blown the board

and thats where the problem starts

    theres different boards.. you’ll need

    1 > the serial number
2 > the software variation (a sticker on the cover, number starts 271… or summink)
3 > is it cold or hot+cold fill
4 > on certain models, the heater box was changed, but it might not be that new, so that needs to be checked

then , with all this info, u can look on partfinder for the right board/eprom

i love merloni !!! whatever happened to timers and speed control modules? they were much less bother and lasted longer

    Re: Condenser dryer creda t622cw

    yup, its probably the relay
however.. just try one thing 1st?

check the plug/socket.. ive had rafts of these doing that and its the live connection burnt in the socket outlet..

it might not be that, but your gonna be well hacked off if you change the relay and its still the same

    hope this helps

Re: Hotpoint WF440 Etc. surface mounted switches

    nope, seen quite a few

its usually because the clear platic bracket on the back of the bezel isnt clipped in properly, and sits funny on the switch

merloni.. dont u just love em?

zanussi are one of the best dryers out there, quiet, well built, surdy and most of all reliable

whirlpools arent bad, but tend to be a bit rumbly

steer well clear of hotpoint/creda/indesit… ull know wot bother is if u waste money on one of them

    hope this helps

    is the door seal kinked?

a more common problemwas the front weight slipping round and hitting the door hinge… ive seen plenty of these babies bounce around rooms , ive never changed one suspension leg, although im sure it happens

    Re: Felt bearing for Zanussi

it pulls tight around the front air duct, and holds itself in place, if its come off, it needs a new one.. and it aint a nice job either

    hope this helps

    Re: hvr ab130

    assuming the paddles are out…

lie machine on side, remove sump, u can fit 1 screw into the paddle

if the paddles still in its attatched by 2 screws, remove 1 by goin in thru sump, then break the other off, by woteva means possible( short shafted hammer works well)

then refit with 1 screw, otherwise is drum out

    hope this helps
