1 is behind the rear banjo shaped panel.. its usually that one
the other is inside… top off left hand panel off ( looking from back)
and its under the cowling on the motor at the front
plug out if your looking please

Participantnah , just change the pump, for sure itll be cutting out after overheating on the dry cycle
helo_75
Participantfor sure itll be the motor thats blown the pcb
if your lucky, itll take a set of brushes and new pcb
your call as to whether you think its worth it
helo_75

Participantyou mean the inner drum spider?

helo_75

Participanti think its time you looked at whats really wrong with it
look at the top of the evaporator, theres 2 little white boxes… you know,,,the thermal cutouts which dictate if the evaporators defrosted enough for the timer to advance?
it isnt all about time ya know .. yes, it might freeze for say 12 hours.. but to hope that 10-15 minutes of defrosting is enough would be silly, wouldnt it
the cut outs are faulty

Participantthanks ken

no one engineer is better than anyone else, everyone has failings, some are better at some things than others
the thing we all are is human, we should all work together to try and make it easier in that god awful, difficult world thats out there – and thats why i made a point of it
ive never sl4gged off any engineer on here, because i understand…. i just feel its unnecesary to dish it out, when i know im not perfect
or, as the good bible says
‘let he who is without sin cast the first stone’
every point ken made is bang on, whether it offends or not
can we all just get on now?

Participanttry levering off the covers, one over the hinge, and one on the other side, and undo the screws first!

Participantthe main culprit will be the sump
with plug out, tilt the machine45 degrees, the sump is the pipe from the pump to the tub
always a good place to stat
but please work safely
good luck
