Participantits a thermal cut out, built into the pump
its designed to cut the pump out if it gets hothelo_75
Participantif its a washer dryer, the pump had a toc which was known to cut in and out randomly after some use
usually, changing the pump will cure your problem
unless of course u have a rinsehold option selected

Participantpossibly
plug out , lid off
check heater and thermal fuse (usual culprit) with a multimeter
and check condensers not full of fluff or blocked
hope this helps
