pushing it back in wont work
u need to take a multimeter and check if theres continuity between the band and tthe drum
if there is, then it wont function correctly
trust me, thats ur problem, its a pig to sort, even indesit changed the way it worked it was such an issue
ridiculous money
really, you wouldnt believe the price of the pcb
your call, just dont buy hotpoint/haier/beko/indesit
there should be some sort of insulation between the drum and the band… often, the insulation slips out, and the band touches the drum, which it shouldnt
depends on variant
theres 2 designs, one has a band around the drum with a brush, the other has a sensor in the front baffle
usually its the earlier ones that faulter.. usually the brush breaks, or the band becomes dislodged and the insulation breaks
failing that, itll be the dreaded module fault
he means KNOWN MODULE PROBLEM
ive fitted rakes, smashed many a door to pieces cos the fit badly
just plain pants
new modules dont work either
it has a live.. a neutrsal and a common
door closes, swithc is activated, door locks.. feed supplied to board
or if u wanna save some money, and dont mind using new amp tags, thisll fit
