Participantyes.. the valves faulty as penguin said
its a £20 part
http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … Valve.html
its the green coil thats open circuit, the machine wont allow it to continue because theres no point if it aint gonna work

Participantyep.its common, theres a new pcb out with different software….
pm me
😛

Participantyou got mail 😉

Participantplus the switch on the front pressing of the drum.. sometimes the wire breaks there as well
there where 2 variants of this machine, on was run just off a board, one was run off a board with a slave unit
the easy way to tell, is if you open the door, do you get a . or 3 bars?
dont be surprised if the slave unit is faulty if its the latter
oh halcien days.. fitted rakes of them when they were in production.. dont see any these days

Participantmind you, you could have just read the section in the manual, marked ‘resetting test mode’
its because youve pressed the on/off and start button at the same time when switching it on

Participantid be checking the drum spider, and make sure its not been catching the wash heater
ive been nailed a few times with that one

I have had an indesits which start failing like this, then stopped altogether.
I’m just trying to give the guy some clues; motor problems do cause the machine to stop and the lights to start flashing on Indesit machines!!
Too many times i have seen circuit boards written off as faulty yet they are not always the cause; i hope you would agree? In fact the electronics are very reliable and rarely the cause of failures. As the armature current increases from the drive triac, the ‘eprom’ senses the motor turning (via speed sensor)and increases the current until the motor turns at required speed.
During the cycle, if the current does not fall into the set parameters, the machine stops and the lights begin to flash.I have had them and, the later 7 wire motors are less durable then the 5.
You may well be correct about a dodgy ‘eeprom’ but I would not put my money on it.
Is your ‘eeprom failure’ not a guess? or do you have the machine in front of you?One can test a motor with a 12 volt battery and a meter.
Thank you
if you open your mouth wide enough, youll get your other foot in too
ANYONE who thinks indesit electronics are reliable are certifiable
the pumps obstructed, thats what f5 means

We would be very grateful if anybody would help us to recognise the problem that occured to our washer-dryer indesit widl 102. It started with difficulty to get rid of the water after starting a program. It would go for a while – would get water and start turning, than would stop , and after few minutes several of the leds would start flashing. The first one – red above the automatic lock sign (would flash very fast), than the first green ( which is the second led if you count the red one 😛 ) , and the fourth one (again if you go from the red) – they flash less fast than the first in the same rythm. Maybe somebody knows how to read those symptoms ?If the machine is a few years old, my guess is – the motor has gone.
See if it’s the 7 wire motor; they fail / go short circuit after a while.guessings no good
like iadom says, its an eeprom setup error
after all, why would it turn if the motor was duff?

Participantit wont be a lot better, ive fitted them and ben back to them within weeks
the problem is the fact that the selector is to closr to the big ring, and thats why they put the metal plate over it
its the way they are im afraid
the looms an easy fix, and isnt that expensive
helo_75
Participantif there was a bang and a flash, theres a very good chance it will have blown a track off the pcb
if its a new pump, dont live test, we dont recommend that
always remove the plug
trace the wires back to the pcb, and look at the tracks.. youll probably see where its blown itself apartyou can try and fix it with fine wire and solder, but theyre usually duff
good luck

Participantwell, even without water.. the temperature can be so different!
itll auto adjust as and when it takes the water
i detest timers, they pose so many questions, with sometimes difficult answers
best dishwashers are a simple bosch with no digital timer
