ParticipantHave you checked whether the lower spray arm is split? They have a habit of splitting along the seam and then cause it to pulse out of the door.

ParticipantYes the insulation resistance is good (for the whole machine as well as the element).

ParticipantThis is a whirlpool based unit and lists F06 as “Heater NTC (Set2)”.
If you let me have an email address then I will send what info I have.

ParticipantI have found a conversion leaflet that tells you how to convert from an Invensys to an Elbi/Bitron timer under this part number but If you have a Pheonix Timer (C00609854) then unfortinatley I dont think is interchangeable as the wiring is completley different.
Let me have an email address and I will send you what I have.

ParticipantWell that confirms my suspicion that is must be the module then as this machine doesn’t even have a dryer in it.

ParticipantIt looks like you may be missing a letter between the 2 and the S and there are lots of variants.
Have you got the industrial code for it?

ParticipantAnother thought that has come to mind is that this machine has a half field tap on the motor which would only be used during spin so I would check that all the wiring between the module and the motor is good and if so then it may be a faulty relay on the module.

ParticipantHave you double checked the motor brushes? I have had some in the past that were right on the verge of stopping the motor entirley but would still allow it to spin but not tumble or vice versa.

ParticipantI don’t know about this particular model but typically with the Stoves ovens the cooling fan comes on as soon as a oven control is turned on and will run for a further 15 minutes after the controls are switched off, they don’t usually have any form of thermal switch for them, assuming that this is the case and that the rest of the oven works fine then the board is almost certaintly at fault in this case.

ParticipantMost likley to be a module fault, quite common issue on the Samsung machines.

ParticipantHave you checked that there is still power going to it when it fails? I would suggest trying another socket or connect it to a suitable extension lead with a table lamp and see if the lamp goes out at the same time.

ParticipantHi All
This one has come back to haunt me again with an error E9, i have been and tested all the heaters and sensors and was not able to find any obvious fault, when I put the unit into test mode it appeared to activate its outputs correctly but I was unable to tell what it thought its temperatures were as the display is shot.
The customer has decided to go ahead with a new display card as we can’t tell much more about the unit till we can see what it is thinking/seeing.
In the meantime I have got 3 questions that I am trying to find the answer too and hope someone can help:- Does anyone know for definate what the latest software version and revicion is for this unit please?
- The service manuals that Dave sent me suggest that maybe this unit should have a plated wired shelf at the top but the customer doesn’t have one, is this correct?
- The service manual that Dave sent has the test procedure pages (53-55) for this version of display board (4398351510) in a foreign language – is there an english version available?
Thank you
