    Re: Customers Attitudes

yeah but the plastic one (only 14 months old) can be done in 40ish mins, theres only a few bits to take off these days, seems a huge waste though for a drum support

back to customers attitudes, got a call today, indesit, lifter broken off & small leak, turned up to find drum shaft broken on a sealed plastic tank, took a right ear bashing & abusive language from a cutomer who said only an amature & unprepared engineer would turn up without the drum assy!!! looks like im gonna have to take my HGV license so i can carry all 200+ drums made in the last 25 years then 😆

hi, F10 is pressure switch not sensing correctly, this is the module is not recieving the level settings it expects, worth checking the pump & valves are all ok first, if all fine start with the pressure switch, (may be stuck) if still same then unfortunatly it will be board & eeprom too, hope this helps

    Re: The Delay

its far cheaper to fit a machine with a heat activated door lock than one connected to the motor & water levels for safety systems, so the choice is would you pay an extra £50 fo a machine with these systems on just so you dont have to wait 1-2 mins for the door to release at the end of a programme??

best to replace the brushes now rather than wait for them to fail again (which will be very soon)and possibly cause damage to the motor commutator!!

    Re: Hotpoint Aquarius TDC32S

easy answer is yes and yes!
probably will be the stat on the back
MAKE SURE THE PLUG IS OUT, there are about a dozen screws around the back panel, remove and there are 2 themostats underneath, a close look should show that both have the metal discs slightly rounded outwards, the faulty one will be flat or rounded inwards, they MUST be replaced as a pair, you can buy them here at shop@,
also check the wires to the stats are not burnt, when replacing try not to touch the disc side of the new stats

either RH side panel off remove 1 screw from pump & twist, or tip back, remove the 3 screws at the front of the base tray, push it down & remove the 3 torx screws from back of pump motor

depends, you must make sure the machine is unplugged from the mains first!!, when the lid is off just look at the back of the dryer dial/switch & make sure there is a small plug with 2 wires connected to it

no, it does not matter if the knob is pushed in or out, it has no effect, its just a child proof thing, if it still works when the dial is set to zero it may either be a faulty switch or more commonly if you REMOVE THE PLUG and remove the lid, the small plug on the back of the drier dial may have come off, this makes the machine do a dry cycle after every wash

hi, the drier dial just needs to be set to zero, it may be a push in/out dial to see the settings
