Hmmmm, apparently only a pump/drain error so may soil my hands. 🙂

Funnily enough that was the first thing I intended to check when I call this afternoon. 🙂

Couldn’t agree more with my esteemed colleague. Look at the equipment used in major hotels and on board the main cruise lines and you will see that it is nearly all SEBO, not a Dyson in sight. 😉

    SEBO

Thanks guys, I have already downloaded the manual and the instructions I gave her earlier to deactivate child lock where correct.

Will get her to check the Energy saving mode at half time. 🙂

Re: Aqualtis 78497 R no heat

Can’t actually see any stats on parts diagram, only a sensor strip which is part of the door surround and two thermistors, one in the front and on which appears to be on the top of the heat pump unit. ????

Never seen one but I would imagine that ntc failures should throw up an error code.

Have you tried it with a load of damp clothes in?

Very rude not to ask permission to post things like that IMHO.

Re: Hotpoint LTF 11M132C power button flashing continuously!

That sounds very much like a control module fault, if it is under five years old then going back to Hotpoint to take advantage of the five year parts warranty will be your best option,

Two different main power modules, two different facia/control modules, all well over £100.
The main modules also need programming and there are four different software/smartcard versions. 😥

Three duplicated posts after 6.00PM on a Sunday night, goodness knows what would happen if it was a real emergency and not just a faulty dishwasher. 🙂

I have deleted two of your three separate threads. 😉

That does not appear to be a known error code but as it may well be a fairly recent machine we don’t have access to the error codes for that model.

Does H or 6 appear in the display window?

Hopefully someone who does know ‘may’ be able to answer your question in the near future.

Re: Hotpoint TCHL 73 BRP Condenser Dryer

Hmm, has your machine got a small green dot sticker inside the door?

This model range is over two years old and has the same basic innards as the Hotpoint models of the past 9/10 years or more.

None of the earlier ones have a fifteen minute pause but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been introduced on later ones such as yours which is designated a B energy model.

Give Hotpoint a ring as they will be able to tell you for certain, unless it is mentioned in your user manual.

I have tried to download a copy of the user manual but there appear to be problems with their web site ATM. 🙁

Having a ‘look’ at it will not show anything, basically a sealed unit.

Part number is C00258669, around a tenner. 😉

Re: Hotpoint WD8640 collects water after drying finishes

It sounds like an intermittently faulty fill valve. If your cold water tap is easily accessible ( it should be ) but often is not 😥 , then turn the cold water feed off overnight for next few days as soon as you finish using the machine.

If the machine does not fill with water after doing this then your fill valve is faulty.

    Re: Hotpoint Aquarius H20 flashing

The fill valves can fail without warning but it is a bit of a coincidence to have occurred after a power outage.
The H20 message can sometimes be a spurious error code generated by heating element down to earth amongst other things.
An electrical test of the fill valves would be the first step, could also be pressure switch but that should generate different error codes.
