Could just be an error on the web page, have a word with your rep or contact Masterpart by e-mail, they usually respond fairly quickly.

ESPARES 😯 you are joking, have you seen their three times normal list rip off prices. 👿

A punter on the public forums only yesterday was looking at £145.00 for a bearing kit from espares that can be supplied at a decent profit for £33.00

There was the classic one of an American airline that had the warning ‘may contain nuts’ on the back of its complimentary bags of peanuts. :rolls:

Re: Hotpoint DF61 not cleaning properly

I am suprised that the manual says that. The drain pump (which is most definately not the cause of your fault) can be accessed from the front, however that needs the door front panel and the large lower plinth and a few other bits removed to gain access. There is access to the flap valve of the drain pump from inside the dishwasher, under the filter but I say again, this is unlikely to be the cause of your problems. You cannot access the circulation pump without a major strip down involving removal of top, door, side panels and complete inner tub. There is a hose that often gets blocked that you can get at in the same way as the drain pump. it runs right across the left lower front of the machine but once again is really best left to someone with experience.

Re: Hotpoint W/M PCB Part no required.

Partfinder only lists 1604719 for that model but it has a picture link to that part number. That shows three different PCB’s, 1 knob, 2 knob & 3 knob. The 2 knob PCB is listed as 1604719.

    1 knob as 1604722.
    3 knob as 1604099.

Masterpart have it listed at almost £90 + vat but Partfinder lists it as around £61 + vat. 😕
Spareslink is much nearer the mark. 😉

I nearly made it my New Years resolution to stop soiling my hands with Indesit rubbish, I am becoming sorely tempted to activate said resolution. 👿

Nice one. Comes up as No Items on Partfinder, also not recognised at Masterpart yet but Qualtex/Spareslink does list that part as a special order item. 8)

I have added that to original thread.

I am dying to see if this gets a constructive reply, how can you describe this pain in the arse job other than a right bloody fiddle and as for diagrams. :rolls:

Mind you, I had to do a handle change on one of these late model, built in Indesit/Hotpoint washer dryers last week for the first time, umpteen times harder than the earlier half moon shaped handle, you cannot actually see the hole in the handle or latch when you are trying to push the pin home, a real PITA. took me almost 20 minutes to get the pin back in. 👿

    Re: Indesit Evolution we16

Possible control module fault, I think that the Evolution range is covered by a five year parts guarantee, due to the high cost of certain parts on these machines the manufacturer service may be your best option.

Re: Hotpoint WF440 – Noisy Spin

More likely to be a loose concrete balance weight than bearings on this model. One large weight on top of drum, another slung on the front of the outer drum, both prone to coming loose and causing noise. Would strongly suggest you get this attended to regardless of the source of the noise ASAP, don’t use it again until you have done so. Plug out if you intend to have a look or try the link below to see if we have someone in your area who can help.

Bearing failures on later Hotpoint machines have reduced significantly.

NB. Your machine has a five year parts guarantee so don’t go spending lots of money on bearing kits or the like, if in doubt send for Hotpoint.

Cannot offer any clues on fault, can only say that these are a horrid little machine, several parts already obsolete. I may have a wiring diagram if you think that may help.

Re: Hotpoint Ultima WMA60 – pump problem help!

Not an unknown fault, but unusual on that machine, normally caused by water getting onto the pump or much older pump wearing away and leaking internally. Keep us informed.

    Re: Burning smell

I would suggest sending the displaced seal back for examination, could it be caused by an article of clothing rather than the drum?
