ModeratorRe: Hoover AC327 Spinning Problem
Check on the type of load when the fault occurs, almost all modern machines use the electronics to check if the load is to far out of balance, if the machine senses that this is the case the machine will not spin. often occurs when the user hand washes, then attempts to spin a large jumper or similar, or tries to wash a small load with a single heavy item, can also happen when washing a load with one large item and several small items.

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint Aquarius DF62 will not take in water
There are no electronics in this machine, therefore no error codes.
Interested to know how you ‘checked the pump’, do you mean the circulation pump/motor, or the drain pump?
When it should be filling, can you hear a faint buzzing noise?
Quite a difficult machine to access but a common fault is an internal hose blockage that you can get at after removing the door, and lower front panel. please remove plug if you intend to proceed or click on the link in my sig for expert attention.

sorry about the delay but you know how things suddenly click!!!

This machine has two way/reverse tumble action.

ModeratorRe: Indesit WG1130T Drum Noise
It could be a snapped drum support spider, not one of the strongest drum supports on the market. Can you feel any movement between the inner and outer drum if you pull the inside of the stainless steel inner drum towards yourself ?

😯 …which model of Hotperloni D/W gets up to 95° 😆iadom

This new member seems to have a certain level of knowledge, and also a fixation with Italy 🙂 , however when he states that the hot wash on a dishwasher is 90° to 95 I begin wonder. I did think he may be a Hotpoint/Indesit engineer but I now have my doubts.

He has trade access so I presume someone knows 😉

Water leak almost certainly the cause, may have permanently damaged motor, you could remove the motor and attempt to dry it completely. You would need a meggar or multimeter to check the insulation readings on the motor. New motor/pump assy is around £80.00 inc vat., but be careful, there are two different motors used. Pump is available as a separate item should you rescue the motor.
Plug out at all times when working on the machine. :zap:

All official diagrams are copyright, so you will not be able to obtain them by legitimate means, it is looking like it is time for the experts. 😉

ModeratorRe: CREDA W200FW
There is no display on this machine, there is an ‘End’ LED. The ‘End’ LED is used as a power on, indication. When the progarmme is started ‘End’ should go out.
When they say switch on, they probably mean turn the selector, there is no ON/OFF switch, only a start button plus option buttons.
They will no doubt tell you that it has only just started happening 😉 sounds like a ‘senior moment’ 😆
Got to be some other reason for it not starting, a door interlock is a quick, simple place to start.
The ‘last error detected’ routine in the error codes thread can be used on these.
Press and hold the Rinse Hold & Energy Save buttons whilst selecting ‘H’ although the manual for the W200FW first says check the FinalSpin LED for the four bit binary code, it does correct itself later and refers to the End LED instead, this is the one to use for determining the last error code.iadom
ModeratorRe: Strange Indesit WE16 fault
Thanks for reply, given the poor overall quality of these machines I don’t think I will be doing many chargeable ‘module kit’ repairs. It will however give me the opportunity to recommend something better. 😉

ModeratorRe: Indesit WG1130T Drum Noise
If you push the drum back and forth it is quite normal for lots of different machines to make contact with the front or back of the machine. Under normal operating conditions virtually all excessive movement is from side to side, not front ot back. If you post a good enough picture then most of the engineers on the forum will be able to see if anything is amiss without referring to the diagrams. 🙂
Is is noisy on spin without any clothes in it ?
